Content: What do I see in this photograph?
Treatment: How the subject is dealt with… Lighting. What is included or excluded? Background, Setting, Environment, Context. Selective focus. Movement. Juxtaposition of tones and colours. Exploitation of perspective. Critical timing. Composition. Pattern and texture. Format – horizontal or vertical, shape, aspect ratio.
Technical Aspects | 15%
Handling of tonal range and colour rendition; Exposure; Focus and Depth of Field; Choice of black & white or colour; Computer editing; Presentation (mounts for prints).
